National Farmers Union
The National Farmers Union was founded in 1902 in Point, Texas at the Farmers Educational Cooperative Union of America. Today, NFU represents family farmers, fishers, and ranchers across the country by having established divisions in 33 states. The key to the NFU prospering is their policy process which includes the presentation of resolutions by individuals, and the possible adoption of the resolutions at the local, state and national levels.
