Guilford County Shared Use Kitchen

If you have been thinking about a part-time business making and marketing jams, jellies, sauces or breads then the N.C. Cooperative Extension Service in Guilford County can help get you started. We have identified a gap in between production and consumption of locally produced goods. Our goal is to provide a certified area at a low cost for farmers to diversify their income stream by repurposing fruit and vegetables into a shelf stable product. This will also give them a chance to have products during the winter months. We also hope that our community entrepreneurs will utilize this space to test their products. If you think that you have the best recipe, then come use our kitchen to make market ready products, and then market and sell them at the Greensboro Farmer’s Curb Market.
