Foundation Kitchen

We operate two shared commercial kitchens in Somerville, MA– licensed and fully equipped for use by culinary businesses, cooking classes, events, and pop-ups. Our members include small to mid-size caterers, bakers, spice and sauce makers, coffee and tea caterers, ethnic cooking classes, and much more! In addition to renting our facilities on an hourly basis, we also offer consultancy on business start-up & permitting, assistance with catering & events, Food Safety (ServSafe) classes, and hosting community events and pop-ups. We are passionate about entrepreneurship! Foundation strives to provide a space that is inspiring and motivating to small owner-operators and start-ups, offering networking opportunities between members and within the local community.
