FAO is active in over 130 countries fighting to make a difference. The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations concentrated their efforts of 5 key initiatives. These initiative include helping to eliminate hunger, food security, and malnutrition, making agriculture, forestry, and fisheries more productive and sustainable, reducing rural poverty, enabling inclusive and efficient agriculture and food systems, as well as increasing the resilience of livelihoods to threats and crises.
