Acadiana Food Hub

Acadiana Food Hub Non-Profit Organization will be the support solution for development & growth of the local farming businesses, as well as improving the health of local residents with healthy & affordable food. By providing shared-use space in the warehouse and serving as a resource to connect the local food industry supply chain, the Acadiana Food Hub (AFH) will increase the supply of fresh local produce to blighted communities at competitive prices. With the right infrastructure and cooperation of official parish programs, the AFH can work to provide the community’s underprivileged with regular access to fresh produce and locally sourced food items. Once the AFH removes the barriers to producing, selling, and buying local food, a new standard of health can be set for Acadiana’s people and cuisine.
